Learn the basics of machine sewing including how to thread the machine, basic terminology, differences in needles and fabric, understand the purpose of different machine stitches as well as length and width adjustments.  Create a double-sided placemat, fleece hat and a reusable shopping bag!  You are encouraged to bring your own machine, but we will have machines available for use as well.  We will email you a list of materials to bring with you to class.  If you do not receive a materials list, please reach out to Community Ed prior to the first day of class.  Please make sure to purchase the correct type of materials for the best result.  Ask for assistance at the store if needed.
