Self-Care for Guardians/Parents NEW (Adult Only)
Would you like to feel calmer and more relaxed as a caregiver in order to create a more easy-going relationship with your child? Are you interested in being emotionally supported in a meaningful and powerful way? Join parent educator, Sheila Bauer, in the practice of self-care using mind-body skills like mindfulness and other evidence-based techniques, that are designed to relieve symptoms of stress and trauma. The entire class time is devoted to YOU, because we know that when you take care of yourself–you take better care of your children. (This class can be emotionally intense at times, many call it transformative. Participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into self-care than they do in a typical parent education class.
