Spanish Level I & II
Build your child’s language foundation!
This lively introduction to the Spanish language used a dynamic, hands-on method of instruction called the Building Block Method of Learning to teach basic Spanish components using songs, games and cultural activities.  Your child will learn how to ask and answer basic questions in Spanish, speak briefly about his or her family, count to 100 and correctly pronounce all Spanish letters.  Using a conversational approach, students will also learn vocabulary related to colors, animals, body parts and clothing and will begin to make complete sentences in Spanish.

Spanish Level II & III (Carver Elementary Only)
Using a conversational approach and our dynamic hands-on instruction, students will learn vocabulary related to colors, animals, body parts, and clothing and will be begin to make complete sentences in Spanish.  Students will also be able to to say months of the year, classroom objects and discuss monthly weather patterns and relate them to a particular season.  Every week a cultural component is also covered in our exciting classes!

Spanish Level III & IV
Take Spanish to the next level!
Students really take Spanish to the next level in this exciting course which allows students to build on previous knowledge to make more complex sentence structures.  For example: Students will be able to say the months of the year, discuss monthly weather patterns and relate them to a particular season.  Additional topics will include classroom objects, birthdays, sports, transportation, the outdoors and places.  By the end of the course students will be able to translate the verb IR and appropriately use Me gusta in various sentences.  A fun instructional method along with fascinating cultural topics ensure that students will also love this class!
