Super Hero Kids/Assault Prevention-K-3 @ Family Learning Center
Jun 11 @ 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm

1 in 7 kids will experience an assault before they are 18, and 90% by people they know. These classes help kids and adults recognize and stop groomed assaults. Short and long term consequences can range from fear, distrust, anxiety, depression, challenging behavior, poor academics, and later substance use, risky behavior, exploitation and worse. An adult is required to attend with child(ren).
Class is short, fun and non scary! Learn a new language of safety so kids are empowered to stay safe when away from trusted adults, and be able to recognize when 2 simple rules are broken, how to GET AWAY, and how to TELL. If your kids do sleepovers, go to others houses, get rides and dropped off and camps and other activities, this class is a must.
