Lumber Jack and Jill Camp @ Lake Minnewashta Regional Park

Experience history first hand through lumberjack-themed activities! Cook outdoors, try out log rolling, and make fun crafts! Experienced staff will bring Minnesota history to Minnesota present! Presented by University of Minnesota Extension/4-H, Carver County Parks and Eastern Carver County Schools

Please pack a bag lunch, snacks & a beverage. Students should also be equipped with close-toed shoes, a backpack, reusable water bottle, hat, sunscreen and bug spray. Bring a swim suit and towel.

Transportation is conveniently provided to and from camp at two of our Club Care site locations.The bus will pick-up students at Jonathan Elementary at 8:10 AM and at Chanhassen Elementary at 8:30. Drop-off will be approximately 3:15 PM at Chanhassen Elementary and 3:40 PM at Jonathan Elementary. Parent pick-up/drop-off directly to and from the park is also welcomed. Please register early as registration space is limited to the first 36 students.

Messiest Art Camp Ever! @ Jonathan Elementary

Does your young artist love to get messy? So do we! We’ll paint with plaster, sculpt with gooey gunk, make paper maché dragonflies and fling paint like Jackson Pollock. We will even learn some art terms along the way. These are not projects to tackle at home – leave the mess with us.
Dress for a mess!

Python Coding @ Victoria Elementary

This class has been moved from Bluff Creek Elementary School to Victoria Elementary School.

Get a great head start in learning how to code using one of the key programming languages used by professional developers – Python.  Its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than would be possible in languages such as C++ or Java, making it a perfect coding language for beginners.  Python is a text based language; students should have familiarity with keyboarding and basic computer skills.  Please bring a drink & peanut free snack daily.

Science Kaleidoscope @ Chanhassen Elementary

Have fun and learn with Mad Science as you explore the fields of chemistry, Egyptology and engineering.  Help build a giant geodesic dome, build a model pyramid, and write with hieroglyphs.  Make your own chromatography T-shirt and mix different ingredients to create sidewalk chalk, bath fizzers, and edible treats.

Superheros to the Rescue Art Camp @ Family Learning Center

If your child could have a superpower, what would it be? Would it be super strength like Superman? Spider-sense like Spider-Man? Or maybe incredible speed like Flash Gordon? Here is your child’s chance to imagine themselves as a superhero! We will channel your child’s super-creativity into making awesome works of art all with superhero themes.

Lil’ Star Psychedelic Sports Sampler Camp @ Chanhassen Rec Center

Get your sports fix during this week long sports camp!  Players will learn the basic fundamentals of a variety of sports, including: T-Ball, track & field, golf, soccer, football, and fun, fast-paced games/activities.  They will also have a blast tie-dying t-shirts the first day!  Campers should bring a water bottle and snack.

Computer Coding for Kids @ Family Learning Center

How to Draw Camp @ Jonathan Elementary
