Becoming independent, becoming social, becoming imaginative describes the world of the 2-3 year old. Explore the developmental needs of the ‘becoming’ preschooler and the parenting strategies to assist your child’s growth and learning. Sibling care is available, registration is required.

2 Years – World of Two’s @ Family Learning Center

World of Two’s (24-36 months by 9/1/18) Separating 

These years are full of exploration, discovery and learning!  Join other parents on the journey to better understand this age of increasing cognitive and language development, as well as physical and social skills growth.

Sibling care available.  Registration is required.

Child and Babysitting Safety @ Chanhassen High School
Apr 24 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Participants will learn the responsibilities of being a prepared, safe, responsible and professional babysitter.  Topics include child development, behavior guidance, supervision, proper feeding and diapering techniques, personal safety, medical emergencies, basic first aid care and fire safety.  Dolls, bottles, diaper supplies will be provided at class for hands-on participation.  The course is developed by the American Safety and Health Institute and approved by the American Pediatrics Association.  Class participants receive a booklet and certification card.  Participants should bring a peanut free snack and beverage to class.
