Zumba is one of the most popular group exercises. It has a combination of elements of fitness: cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of happiness. Dance to great music, great people and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it. The instructor encourages letting loose and smiling and being yourself. She loves dancing and moving and won’t stop until she teaches you how to move to the music and feel free, she will lead you there.

45 Minute Cycle & Strength @ Pioneer Ridge Middle School

Get high fives and have fun with a fast paced training program that tests how far you are willing to push yourself with one minute intervals alternating strength and cardio to feel the burn. Test out your cardio limits with one minute bursts on the bike. Maximize your strength training with variations to keep you working every muscle group. Cool down, stretch and work on your core strength to finish off your workout!

Microsoft Excel @ Family Learning Center

Learn how to navigate through the Excel workspace; input the three kinds of data Excel understands (text, values, and formulas); format the data; add interesting effects like borders and shading; print out the finished spreadsheet and its formulas for reference; and generate a 3D pie chart for data.

Some typing experience is assumed as this is a hands-on class.

Note: There will be a 30 minute lunch break; please bring a bag lunch.

Participants do not need to bring their own computer, but they can if they want to.

World of Twos and Threes @ Family Learning Center

Explore the perspective of a young toddler. Body Sculpting & Conditioning @ Chaska High School

Get a complete body workout in 45 minutes! Work your whole body with a variety of exercises and equipment! Many formats will be used to always challenge your body and never get bored! This workout will include strength, cardio, and flexibility! All equipment is provided including mats (unless you choose to bring your own). All levels welcome! What are you waiting for? Being the “best version of you” starts here!

Total Body Conditioning @ Family Learning Center

This class will boost your overall fitness condition through intervals, strength training, plyometrics, and core training. We will use a variety of equipment to challenge your balance, muscles and cardiovascular system.
