Wiggles & Giggles Morning (1-5 by 9/1/18) Separating

The wiggling and giggling will begin with parent & child interaction time.  After a lively circle, parents will join the Parent Educator facilitated discussion group, giving you the opportunity to engage with others about topics ranging from eating & sleeping, toileting and social skills challenges and strategies.

Sibling care available.  Registration required.

Beginner/Intermediate Tennis-Ages 8-10 @ Chanhassen High School

Ages 8-10 – With the use of age appropriate equipment and up-beat, well trained instructors we will continue to build your child’s athletic skills and emphasize agility, balance and coordination.  The main focus will be on rallying with kids of a similar ability level and serving with proper grips and techniques.  Please bring your appropriate sized tennis racquet and water bottle.

Beginner/Intermediate Tennis- Ages 11-15 @ Chanhassen High School

Ages 11-15

The emphasis is to develop an enthusiasm for tennis!  The students in this class range from beginner, to those that have taken previous classes, to those that have been in the middle school program.  The focus will be on serving and being able to rally with proper grips and techniques.  Increasing the student’s athleticism, agility, balance, and fine motor skills will also be a key focal point.  Please bring your appropriate sized tennis racket and a water bottle.  If necessary the rainout makeup dates will be on May 18 and June 1.

CCFA Flag Football @ Chanhassen High School

“Are you ready for some football!”  Join in on the Spring Flag Football League presented by Chaska Chanhassen Football Association (CCFA)!  Come learn the game of football for the first time or enhance your skills before moving up to the tackle leagues.  Players will receive a team jersey to keep!  Practices and games will be held on Saturday mornings.  Join us for the first season today!

Join us for a fun spring class featuring Fantastic Art projects created by kid artists. Kids are very talented artists. You’ll learn about our featured young artists and create some fantastic artwork inspired by these creative kids. In this session, we’ll paint and sculpt colorful fish, paint a colorful seascape on canvas and even draw a squirrel. Conversational Spanish @ Clover Ridge Elementary

Spanish Level I & II
Build your child’s language foundation!
This lively introduction to the Spanish language used a dynamic, hands-on method of instruction called the Building Block Method of Learning to teach basic Spanish components using songs, games and cultural activities.  Your child will learn how to ask and answer basic questions in Spanish, speak briefly about his or her family, count to 100 and correctly pronounce all Spanish letters.  Using a conversational approach, students will also learn vocabulary related to colors, animals, body parts and clothing and will begin to make complete sentences in Spanish.

Spanish Level II & III (Carver Elementary Only)
Using a conversational approach and our dynamic hands-on instruction, students will learn vocabulary related to colors, animals, body parts, and clothing and will be begin to make complete sentences in Spanish.  Students will also be able to to say months of the year, classroom objects and discuss monthly weather patterns and relate them to a particular season.  Every week a cultural component is also covered in our exciting classes!

Spanish Level III & IV
Take Spanish to the next level!
Students really take Spanish to the next level in this exciting course which allows students to build on previous knowledge to make more complex sentence structures.  For example: Students will be able to say the months of the year, discuss monthly weather patterns and relate them to a particular season.  Additional topics will include classroom objects, birthdays, sports, transportation, the outdoors and places.  By the end of the course students will be able to translate the verb IR and appropriately use Me gusta in various sentences.  A fun instructional method along with fascinating cultural topics ensure that students will also love this class!
