These years are full of exploration, discovery and learning!  Join other parent/guardians on the journey to better understand this age of increasing cognitive and language development, as well as growing physical development and social-emotional skills.

Lunch & Learn Preschool @ Family Learning Center

Lunch & Learn (Parent/Guardian of Preschoolers) Adult Only

An exploration of child rearing best practices that support the positive growth and development of preschool age children as well as learning how to help them navigate the changes in preschool development. Pack a lunch for yourself and join in the parent educator facilitated group discussion. If your preschool child/and or younger child/children are not in other programming during this class, they will have lunch and play time in the sibling care classroom. Please make sure to register any children for sibling care that are not already in programming if you need it. Registration is required.

For each lesson, students focus on developing 21st Century skills such as problem solving, critical thinking and peer collaboration. These life skills provide students with the confidence to approach challenges in their lives and realize that they can succeed in almost anything!

The Best way to spark enthusiasm for a language is with a topic that students love…¡Vamos con los animales! (Let’s go with the Animals!) is just that! For eight jam-packed sessions, students will blaze new trails “visiting” a pet store, a family farm, the zoo, the ocean, and even the rainforest – All in Spanish! Your child will learn animal-related vocabulary, catch glimpses of some special animals who call Latin America their home, all while applying practical phrases and Spanish vocabulary to every topic. Flow Yoga @ Family Learning Center

This class focuses on a variety of yoga formats including holding (Hatha) as well as connecting breath with flowing movements to lengthen and strengthen the body. The emphasis of each class will be creating proper body alignment, mindfulness, and observing breath and body. This yoga class is great for those looking to release tension and stress in the body after your workday. You will leave this class feeling refreshed and relaxed.
