Calm Club LAA @ La Academia

Calm Club is a fun place where kids can learn different tools to calm their body and mind. The group will provide ways to increase problem solving and coping skills, enhance skills to challenge stressful thoughts, and practice fun relaxation tools like belly breathing, yoga poses, and muscle relaxation.

Zumba Kids LAA @ La Academia

Zumba Kids is perfect for our younger Zumba fans!  It gives kids the chance to be active and jam out to their favorite music!  Steps are broken down in easy to follow choregraphies; games, activities and cultural exploration are some of the elements of the class structure.  This class will be taught in a Spanish Immersion setting by Chaska High School Spanish teacher Maria Ochoa Schindler.

Benefits: Helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun.  Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, teamwork, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, cultural awareness.

Total Body Conditioning @ Family Learning Center

This class will boost your overall fitness condition through intervals, strength training, plyometrics, and core training. We will use a variety of equipment to challenge your balance, muscles and cardiovascular system. Please bring an exercise mat.  Drop in rate 7.00. If you enjoy working out with Kaari, sign up for the Total Body and Fit Yoga class (#4391) to receive a discount.

Lefse @ Chaska High School

This wonderful Norwegian delicacy is made for banquets, holidays, weddings and all special occasions. If you are Norwegian and missed recording Grandma’s recipe, tips and techniques – this is the class for you! Note: other nationalities find lefse delicious too. Learn the fine points in making the dough, baking, storing and of course how to serve lefse, bonus is a bit of history and humor too. We will begin with real potatoes using a number of authentic recipes and a modern version using instant potatoes. Plan to sample your fresh, warm creations with traditional fillings plus take home finished lefse and dough to bake then share with family/friends. $9 food fee paid to instructor night of class.

We then use engaging and dynamic games to cement students’ growth including our unique three-on-three style game. This is a high-octane class with an inclusive atmosphere. But hurry, the shot-clock is running down!

New and returning students invited. Our winter session focuses on advanced beginner and intermediate concepts while the spring session focuses on intermediate and advanced concepts and features an end-of-year in class tournament.

Conquer Ninja Rec Team @ Conquer Ninja Gym

Sign up today to see how Ninja is easily one of the fastest growing sports today! Not only is it the fastest growing sport, but it is the fastest growing cross-training sport as well. Our Conquer Rec Team is designed for youth, ages 6-13 of all experience levels. Our Rec Team will practice on real obstacles inspired by TV shows such as warped walls, salmon ladders, tilting ladders and so much more during their weekly practice. Rec Team members will learn the styles and techniques to develop their Ninja Skills with over 40 different obstacles! This 8 week long Rec Team consists of 6 practices and 2 competitions. (week 4 and week 8)
