Body Sculpting and Conditioning @ Chaska High School

Come join the fun! Meet new people and get in shape! This class is for all levels. Tone your whole body and improve your muscular strength through many different sculpting and conditioning exercises head to toe. We will be using a variety of different exercise equipment, such as, hand weights, stability balls, kettle bells, medicine balls, resistance bands and more (all provided). This class is a great addition to any cardiovascular workout!

Total Body & Flow Yoga @ Family Learning Center

This is a combo class of Kaari’s Total Body Conditioning and Flow Yoga classes.  Sign up for this class to receive a discount for taking multiple classes taught by Kaari!  Discount is already included in the price.

Total Body Conditioning @ Family Learning Center

This class will boost your overall fitness condition through intervals, strength training, plyometrics, and core training. We will use a variety of equipment to challenge your balance, muscles and cardiovascular system. Fit 45 @ Carver Elementary School

Join this high energy class for a quick workout!  Fit 45 is an easy to follow, intermediate level group fitness class that will make the most of every second you give it.  Using a variety of strength and cardio moves, participants will get a full body workout while building muscle and endurance.  Be sure to bring a mat for use during cool down stretching.  Register for Fit 45 session 1 & Fit 60 January class to receive a $10.00 discount.

Beginning & Intermediate Pottery @ Chaska High School

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own pottery or clay projects? Learn how to throw on the wheel in this laid back studio atmosphere. Beginners will be introduced to the potters wheel and start by creating bowls, cups and other basic forms. Intermediate learners will expand their skills and techniques with more advanced forms and demonstrations. Every student will leave with finished projects that are functional, food safe and an original work of art. $17 materials fee for the 1st bag of clay. Students buy more if needed.

Ultimate Frisbee Team @ Chaska Middle School East
Apr 10 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Ultimate Frisbee is a fast paced non-contact sport that is requires a team of 7 to move a disc (frisbee) up an soccer-length sized field into an endzone. The Chaska Ultimate team was established in 2015 and it continues to grow. The season starts in mid-March and end in early June. A player can expect 2-3 practices per week, one game per week, and 2-3 weekend tournaments. Games will be played on Thursdays, schedule and locations TBD. The team is open to all players in grades 9-12.

Fencing is one of the fastest growing sports in the USA and Youth Enrichment League (YEL) fencing continues to evolve to match that pace. Olympic Coach Ro Sobalvarro heads up YEL’s curriculum, ongoing instructor training and tournament consultation. Coach Sobalvarro brings with him an immense knowledge of youth, national and international fencing. Fall is a great time for beginning and returning students. New students get introduced to a pulse-pounding sport while returning students continue their study through Coach Sobalvarro’s progressive curriculum. Safety is our first priority. We supply safety swords, protective masks, chest plates and jackets, in a high-octane, inclusive environment. Tap Dance 1 @ Chanhassen High School

Bring your tap shoes and join us for a fun night of tap dancing. Exercise your body and mind while learning a variety of tap dance steps and a choreographed tap routine. This class is perfect for beginners and those with a little experience.
