Strong 30 + Challenge @ Chanhassen High School

Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG 30 combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves. It incorporates the proven H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) workout except with a twist we call our program H.I.T.T (High Intensity Tempo Training) driven by the science of Synced Music Motivation, the strength of the beat will challenge your muscles and cardio system to find power, strength, speed, stamina and mobility. High intensity moves include (high knees, burpees, jumping jacks, etc.) these moves are interchanged with lower intensity moves (lunges, jump rope, kickboxing). This efficient and focused class helps you fit fitness into any schedule. Make every minute count as you push your limits, discover the athlete within you; feel the force, the energy and get fit. This is a 30 min class plus a challenge at the end of the class, challenges include: plank challenge, squat challenge, burpee challenge.

Lunch & Learn Preschool @ Family Learning Center

Lunch & Learn (Parent/Guardian of Preschoolers) Adult Only

An exploration of child rearing best practices that support the positive growth and development of preschool age children as well as learning how to help them navigate the changes in preschool development. Pack a lunch for yourself and join in the parent educator facilitated group discussion. If your preschool child/and or younger child/children are not in other programming during this class, they will have lunch and play time in the sibling care classroom. Please make sure to register any children for sibling care that are not already in programming if you need it. Registration is required.

8-Hour AARP Defensive Driving @ Family Learning Center
Feb 12 @ 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Created by AARP, this course provides information to help seniors drive violation and crash free as they age. This is a classroom course, there is no driving or other testing involved. Minnesota State Law requires all insurance companies to provide a 10% auto premium reduction for persons 55 and over that successfully complete this course. To qualify for the discount, you must take an 8-hour course. To maintain the discount, MN allows the 4-hour Refresher class once every 3 years. If you have not taken an 8-hour course, or it has been longer than 3 years since you have taken either course, this is the class for you. Contact your insurance agent if you are unsure of the course you need.

Flow Yoga @ Family Learning Center

This class focuses on a variety of yoga formats including holding (Hatha) as well as connecting breath with flowing movements to lengthen and strengthen the body. The emphasis of each class will be creating proper body alignment, mindfulness, and observing breath and body. This yoga class is great for those looking to release tension and stress in the body after your workday. You will leave this class feeling refreshed and relaxed. Dance to great music, great people and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it. The instructor encourages letting loose and smiling and being yourself. She loves dancing and moving and won’t stop until she teaches you how to move to the music and feel free, she will lead you there.

Get a complete body workout in 45 minutes! Work your whole body with a variety of exercises and equipment! Many formats will be used to always challenge your body and never get bored!
