HappyFeet Legends Soccer Camp @ CHS

The HappyFeet Legends Camp curriculum (Ages 6+) is designed as a transition away from stories, songs, and fun games as a preparation for the more competitive and traditional club soccer experiences.  Our coaches continue the individual skill focus involving creative soccer activities with a ball while learning to perform the more complex deceptive dribbling skills with other little soccer stars.  Whether your child is new to HappyFeet or has participated in the past, they are sure to have a blast!

Mountain Bike D-Team
Aug 8 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Like adventure?  Want to be on the High School Mountain Bike Team someday?  Come bike with the CO-ED Chaska Chanhassen Developmental Team! Riders will learn the skills needed to ride local single track trails with confidence and put those skills to use.  Practices are on gravel, paved and single track surfaces.  Beginners through advanced mountain bikers are welcome.  The number of Saturday practices will be adjusted based on coach availability; the hope is to have a minimum of 4.

Required Fees:  $75 Registration

Additional Fees:  $40 Jersey (or use your 2019 jersey) – Optional! – Order info to come!

Equipment Needed: Bike, Helmet, eye protection, water bottle or hydration pack, basic bike tools, and close toed shoes!

Gale Woods Farm Camp @ Gale Woods Farm
Aug 10 @ 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Become a farmer at Gale Woods! Feed farm animals and explore the pastures. Tend to the vegetable and flower gardens, and harvest and cook with farm produce. Make crafts using a variety of resources found at the farm. Transportation will be provided to and from Gale Woods Farm. The bus will leave the Family Learning Center at 8:30 AM each morning and return at approximately 12:00 PM. Students should bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen

This summer give your child an American Ninja Warrior Experience!  Young Ninjas develop strength and agility during this camp by learning different styles and techniques to master all obstacles!    All camps are coached by an experienced Ninja Trainer at the Eden Prairie facility located at 7000 Washington Ave S.

Project Runway @ Family Learning Center
Aug 10 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Sweet summer projects! A tres-chic skirt, tie-top blouse, headband and more. No experience necessary. Students will make, showcase, and take home all their projects. Hand and machine sewing techniques are taught with SAFETY FIRST always in mind. The final day is a showcase where friends and family are invited to see the projects in action.

SkyHawks Mini-Hawk Camp @ JES

This t-ball, basketball, and soccer program gives children a fun and positive first step into athletics. Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Skyhawks will provide all necessary equipment for program.

Ultimate Frisbee Camp @ BCE

What is Ultimate Frisbee?  Combining the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football, a game of Ultimate is played by two, seven-player squads with a high-tech plastic disc on a field similar to football.  The object of the game is to score by catching a pass in the opponent’s end zone.  Ultimate is the fastest growing sport on high school and college campuses.

Youth Disc Golf @ Chaska Disc Golf Course
Aug 10 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Be outside and active in a fun activity perfect for all ages!  In this beginner level class, our instructors teach participants the basics of disc golf by covering rules, technique, etiquette and equipment.  All equipment provided.  The course is located on the Chaska Middle School campus – 1600 Park Ridge Dr.
