This class focuses on a variety of yoga formats including holding (Hatha) as well as connecting breath with flowing movements to lengthen and strengthen the body. The emphasis of each class will be creating proper body alignment, mindfulness, and observing breath and body. Siting all day in a desk can be hard on our bodies and we all know activity is an important part of a healthy lifestyle – all of us included! Circuit training is a quick, fun way to incorporate activity for a head to toe workout. Be an advocate for your health and join this fun, active class! All equipment provided and all levels welcome!

Body Sculpting and Conditioning @ Chaska High School

Come join the fun! Meet new people and get in shape! This class is for all levels. Tone your whole body and improve your muscular strength through many different sculpting and conditioning exercises head to toe. We will be using a variety of different exercise equipment, such as, hand weights, stability balls, kettle bells, medicine balls, resistance bands and more (all provided). This class is a great addition to any cardiovascular workout!

This class will boost your overall fitness condition through intervals, strength training, plyometrics, and core training. We will use a variety of equipment to challenge your balance, muscles and cardiovascular system. Jazz & Hip Hop Dance @ Chanhassen High School

You’ll learn a variety of Jazz & Hip Hop dance moves in this fun and lively class! Content features a choreographed dance routine along with dance technique that will improve your strength and flexibility. No dance experience necessary. Bring tennis shoes or jazz shoes.

Contemporary Ballet @ Chanhassen High School

This class combines elements of ballet and modern dance.  Class content includes a warm up, across the floor combos, and a choreographed dance routine.  This is a gentle form of exercise to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.  It’s a great way to de-stress  after a long day.  No dance experience required.  Bring ballet or jazz dance shoes.
