Beyond Pinch Pots with Kidcreate Studio @ Clover Ridge Elementary

Every kid loves making pinch pots! But let’s go beyond that and learn super cool techniques to transform pinch pots into puppy pals, silly rabbits, playful penguins and much more. Not only will the kids learn the basics of working with clay but they will create amazing clay creations that are way cooler than a plain old ordinary pinch pot! Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but this class is our best-kept secret! Register early before it fills up!

STEM Enrichment using LEGO® bricks for the 21st Century learner.  Each {YEL!} STEM class follows four basic components: Teach It!…Each class students are taught the basic STEM engineering concepts behind each project.  Build It!…Students use LEGO® bricks to build a crane and design their own bridge and watchtower. Explore chemistry as you figure out the difference between solutions and suspensions and experience the power of chemical reactions. Delve into the science of paleontology and learn about life long gone: the dinosaurs! And of course, get a great signature Mad Science take-home every day! Flow Yoga @ Family Learning Center

This class focuses on a variety of yoga formats including holding (Hatha) as well as connecting breath with flowing movements to lengthen and strengthen the body. The emphasis of each class will be creating proper body alignment, mindfulness, and observing breath and body. This yoga class is great for those looking to release tension and stress in the body after your workday. Traditional Southern Cooking – A Dinner @ Chaska High School
Apr 18 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Beginning in the 1690’s, food in the U.S. deep south was heavily influenced by early settlers from France, Germany, and Spain.  Slaves from Senegal, Africa, then Cuban refugees and Cajuns from Nova Scotia, Canada also contributed to the medley of flavors using the wealth of local seafood, vegetables, poultry, livestock and of course pecans.

Join us in creating memorable meal to include: Crab Dip, traditional Cheese Straws, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, Buttermilk Biscuits, Cheese Grits, Pecan Praline candy and traditional Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce.  And we may add a few more recipes!
$15 Food Fee due to instructor at class

World Grooves @ Chanhassen High School
