Knitting for Beginners @ Family Learning Center
Sep 4 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Learn how to knit!  It is very relaxing and there are so many different items that you can make and wear.  This will be four session class.  In the first session, you will learn the basic stitches and how they are completed.  In sessions 2, 3 and 4, you will choose a project to complete in our time together.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own pottery or clay projects? Learn how to throw on the wheel in this laid back studio atmosphere. Beginners will be introduced to the potters wheel and start by creating bowls, cups and other basic forms. Intermediate learners will expand their skills and techniques with more advanced forms and demonstrations. Every student will leave with finished projects that are functional, food safe and an original work of art. $17 materials fee for the 1st bag of clay. Students buy more if needed.

Tap Dance 2 @ Chanhassen High
Sep 18 @ 7:30 pm – 8:20 pm

Take your tapping to the next level. This class is fun cardio exercise that will improve your dance technique and rhythm. You will learn new tap dance steps and a choreographed tap routine. This class is for those with previous tap experience or have taken Tap Dance 1. Bring your tap shoes.

Furniture Distressing @ Family Learning Center
Sep 20 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Come join in the fun while learning how to distress furniture!  Bring a piece you can carry…a frame, a small table or end table, wall hanging or shelf…anything you would like to distress.  You will be painting and sanding so please dress accordingly. $30 supply fee is due to teacher at class.

Tap Dance 1 @ Chanhassen High

Bring your tap shoes and join in the fun of tap dancing. Exercise your body and mind while learning a variety of tap dance steps and a choreographed tap routine. This class is perfect for beginners and those with a little experience.

Jazz & Hip Hop Dance @ Chanhassen High

You’ll learn a variety of Jazz & Hip Hop dance moves in this fun and lively class! Content features a choreographed dance routine along with dance technique that will improve your strength and flexibility. No dance experience necessary. Bring tennis shoes or jazz shoes.
