Family Literacy

The Family Literacy program provides parents and their children access to an exciting world of learning and opportunity. Our goal is to build literacy skills across the generations and to help families acquire the tools they need to grow and thrive. Parents with children ages 0-5 who are interested in learning English while being supported in their role as parents are encouraged to attend.

Parents attend with their children four days per week. First, adults will have time to focus on personal education needs. While parents are learning, children are enjoying quality, age-appropriate learning and play together in their own classroom. Parents then return to the early childhood classroom and participate in activities with their children. One day a week, a parent education discussion is parent of the adult portion of the class.
