Chanhassen High School

Featuring Douglas Wood!

Hooked on Books…and the Arts, too! is a community-wide celebration in support of literacy and the arts. The event has been an on-going partnership between Eastern Carver County Community Education and the Carver County Library system.

Hooked on Books…and the Arts, too! is planning its 13th year of programming! The event integrates literacy and the arts in an imaginative and innovative way. Memories are made for the participants, especially preschool through fifth grade students and their families. Heroes are made out of authors, illustrators, dancers, musicians, and artists, and inspiration takes place along the way.

This project is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
