Early Childhood Family Education

Recognizing that parents are a child’s first and most significant teachers, Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) programs offer a variety of classes and resources for parents and children birth to kindergarten age. ECFE helps build healthy families and sets the stage for parent involvement and children’s overall success in school.

From ECFE, you can expect: 

  • Support for your role as a parent.
  • Research-based information on child development.
  • Fun, experiential learning activities for young children.
  • Connection to community resources.
  • Relationships with other parents in the community.
ECFE classes are taught by licensed Parent Educators and licensed Early Childhood Educators. Program Assistants have a combination of education and experience in the field of early childhood. Together, staff partner to make classrooms successful learning environments for all.
