Gym is grouped by grades K-1-2 and 5-4-3 for safer, more developmentally-appropriate games/free choice throughout the day until numbers are low enough to safely combine all grades.
We go outside for an hour everyday unless temps/windchill is 0 or below. The first rotation is by grade 30 minutes then students may pick outside or mixed-in grades. When it is nice outside, that is an option until 5 PM.
Projects: a monthly calendar is posted listing our M-Th projects including science, art, community service, free choice.
Homework: Club Care does not schedule a structured period for homework. However, it is always an option for students to do homework in the cafeteria or make arrangements with the OST to do it in the Club Care room.
